About us

The Band: One of North London's most jawdropping soul and jazz singers, a guitarist who knows all the licks, a classically trained harpsichordist - a horn player who learnt his music in a Northern brass band - and then found a cheap sax, plus a bass player with a four string lead guitar... Well, this unlikely melting pot of talent goes by the name of Rebus. Mixing lovingly selected soul and jazz classics - 'a la Rebus' of course, with their own impeccable original music.

Rebus will take you on a musical journey from the softer side of Jazz, Soul, Rhythm and Blues, through to the stomping floor-fillers of Northern Soul, with a few tender love songs along the way to help you catch your breath!
